The Globalopen Crystal 20cm Acrylic Clear Globe is a conceptually distinct interpretation of the terrestrial globe — a sphere constructed from water-clear cast acrylic into which the world map is applied as a three-dimensional internal floating map layer, creating the visual effect of the cartography suspended inside a transparent globe rather than printed on its outer surface. The acrylic sphere is 20 centimeters in diameter and manufactured from optical-grade cast acrylic with a clarity index and surface polish equivalent to the acrylic used in museum display cases — free from the bubbles, inclusions, and haze that lower-grade acrylic exhibits. The world map content is printed on a translucent internal layer that is positioned at the center of the sphere during the two-part casting process, creating a genuine three-dimensional effect that is visible from all angles as the viewer moves around the globe.
