The Globalopen Explorer 30cm Illuminated World Globe is Globalopen’s signature entry into illuminated cartography — a 30-centimeter diameter terrestrial globe engineered for home and office display that combines accurate physical geography with a warm internal LED illumination system that transforms the globe into a bedside or desk lamp of genuine visual distinction. The spherical map shell is constructed from a two-layer ABS composite — an outer surface layer carrying the cartographic print and an inner translucent diffusion layer that distributes the LED light evenly across the entire globe surface without hotspots or shadow zones. The cartographic printing uses Globalopen’s eight-color lithographic process to render physical relief terrain — mountain ranges, continental shelves, ocean depth gradients, and desert regions — at a detail level appropriate to the 30cm scale. Country borders are marked in a fine contrasting line, and country names, capital cities, ocean names, and major geographical features are labeled in both English and Vietnamese, making the Globalopen Explorer a particularly relevant educational tool for Vietnamese households and classrooms. The internal LED system operates on a warm white color temperature of 2700K, providing functional ambient illumination suitable for use as a bedside or desk light. The switch is integrated into the power cable at 400mm from the base for convenient reach.
